Welcome, Scorekeepers!
So: about halfway through last season, we started Scorekeepers Union on a lark. We were bored during a rain delay and thought: "wonder if there's anybody on the Internet who's put together a community of folks who are interested in the fine art of scorekeeping." Because the Internet has everything, right? So we did a (admittedly, pretty cursory) search, found nothing, and decided to start up @scorekeepers643 on Twitter.
Humblingly, the response has been fantastic. We've seen scorekeepers at all levels, from professionals in the MLB press box down to weekday scorekeepers at high school games, tagging cards. We've been picking up followers all year; we're no @MLBGIFS (yet!) but the word is starting to spread.
And so, for the 2016 MLB season, it made sense to put down a flag somewhere on the Internet and remind you that we're here, we're scorekeepers, and we're not going anywhere unless we get hungry and wander off for a hot dog and hey could you keep an eye on my book for a half an inning?
We anticipate the large majority of our posting is still going to be done on Twitter, but now we have a repository for some other stuff, too. On this website, you'll find:

- A few pages of reference, including a guide to scorekeeping, and a list of our favorite scorekeeping books and tools - still a work in progress
